Yelena Stepanyan is the Head of Investments at Knowledge First Financial where she oversees about $7 billion of assets under management. Yelena has extensive experience in investment management – development of investment strategy, investment fund development and launch, portfolio optimization, strategic and tactical asset allocation, market analysis, risk management, and sales force education.
She has also consulted large financial institutions on various issues within wealth management and capital markets business. In her home country, Armenia, Yelena worked with foreign investors and the government to help privatize major state enterprises.
Yelena currently serves as the Chair of the Institutional Asset Management Committee of the CFA Society Toronto. She also serves on the User Advisory Committee of the Accounting Standards Board.
