Dr. Christina Arija Halliday is a senior leader and scholar/practitioner in the field of postsecondary education with 25 years of experience in Director-level and teaching roles at colleges and universities in Ontario and Alberta. Known for her authentic and results-driven leadership style, as well as an unfailing commitment to best practice and innovation in curriculum, teaching, and learning, Dr. Halliday has created countless faculty development and student success programs with positive results proven in data and evaluation. A higher education researcher and thought leader, with a history of publications in refereed academic journals and online venues, conference and invited speaker engagements, post-secondary conference organizing, and education consulting, Dr. Halliday is thrilled to be serving as IBU’s Academic Quality Manager, with responsibility for faculty development, program development, and quality assurance.
Sandra Banks is a values-based executive who leads high performing teams while building relationships and results. She has navigated successfully within the complex governance environments of the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
From Coca-Cola Canada, the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair to the University of Waterloo, Sandra has helped drive organizational goals as a highly valued partner and collaborative leader. She is adept at developing innovative strategies across departments and with partners to transform program delivery, participation and funding/revenue.
Sandra is committed to building institutional culture and community through values of respect, integrity, inclusion and accountability. She has served on boards and executive committees at the THEMUSEUM in Kitchener, the Waterloo Economic Development Committee, Stewardship Ontario and co-chaired the Toronto Garrison Ball in 2014.
