Biography:
Philip Lai is a faculty member specializing in Counselling Psychology, with expertise in empathic communication, leadership development, and experiential learning for organizational effectiveness. His work applies behavioural and communication theory to leadership, team dynamics, and organizational development, supporting individual and collective performance. Alongside his academic practice, Philip brings extensive industry experience through corporate leadership development and strategy facilitation engagements with global organizations including Shanghai Disney, Aviage Systems (a GE–AVIC joint venture), CITIC Pacific, PingAn Corporate University, Tencent, BASF, GE, and Oracle. His approach integrates evidence‑based psychology, experiential learning, and real‑world application to strengthen leadership capability and organizational impact across diverse cultural and business contexts.
