Minimum Admission Requirements for MSc in Applied AI
- Four-year Honours Undergraduate Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Mathematical Economics, or Computing. ^
- Applicants who have completed other recognized degrees with substantial STEM academic background are also considered. Applicants without prior completion of the required STEM courses are required to complete the Bridging Program in full or specific courses within the Bridging Program.*
- English Language Requirements if the native language is not English. (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.)
- All applicants are required to submit their official undergraduate degree transcript for evaluation.
- Additional Consideration: Portfolio, Interview, Reference Letters, where necessary.
*Completion of the Bridging Program is required if an applicant does not have the academic background in mathematics (linear algebra), statistics, and program experience in Java, Python, or similar languages etc.
The Bridging Program contains the following four courses:
- Introduction to Python
- Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
- Linear Algebra and Applications
- Calculus, Statistics, and Probability

The IBU Admissions team reviews your file. All of the following must be included for evaluation:
- Official transcripts from all secondary and post-secondary institutions attended
- Letter of Intent
- Foreign transcript evaluation by an IBU-approved credentialing service (e.g., WES or ICAS), if applicable
- English proficiency test scores (IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, or equivalent) dated within two years
A decision is issued by the IBU Registrar’s Office. Accepted applicants must pay the deposit to receive a formal Letter of Acceptance.

This institution has been granted the consent for Master of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence in Industrial Innovation and Data Engineering by the Minister of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security to offer these programs for a five-year term starting March 5, 2026.
