Online MBA:
Course structure & details

Each course in the online MBA program requires you attend one virtual class weekly. These Virtual Classes would need 8 hours of weekly commitment, this includes completing weekly assignments, taking up asynchronous and synchronous learnings.
The curriculum is structured across four terms, focusing on foundational knowledge, advanced skills, integration, and application:

Term 1: Foundation
Core courses include Financial Management, Business Analytics, Organizational Behavior, and Marketing and Social Media, emphasizing skills such as financial analysis, managerial leadership, and social media analytics.

Term 2: Advancement
Foundational topic like Macroeconomics and key topics include Communication, Interpersonal Skills and Negotiation, Information Technology & Digital Transformation, with practical applications like generative AI, global market strategies, and strategic innovation.

Term 3: Integration
Courses range from mandatory program offerings, such as Regulatory Environments, Ethics and Sustainability & Research Methods, to mandatory specialization courses like Entrepreneurship and Innovation, along with electives such as Business Planning & Technology Trends and Applications. It focuses on real-world applications such as sustainability reporting and emerging technology evaluation.

Term 4: Capstone
Students apply their learning through an Applied Research Paper, Consulting Project or Business Plan Development that focusses on addressing business solutions or feasibility studies for real-world opportunities.

The program includes practical case studies, hands-on projects, and opportunities to specialize in areas such as entrepreneurship or technology.

Direct Entry Requirements

HONOURS UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE

  • 2 years of work experience
  • B+ GPA or Equivalent

OTHER UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE

  • 2 years of work experience
  • B+ GPA or Equivalent

*Applicants without a Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), or equivalent may need to complete the following bridging courses:

  • Quantitative Methods for Business
  • Introduction to Business
English Language Proficiency
  • Applicants whose first language is not English must provide proof of English proficiency unless they’ve completed at least 4 consecutive years of study in an English-speaking country.
  • Accepted tests: TOEFL, IELTS (minimum Academic score of 6, no less than 6 in each section), or CAEL.

Additional Admission Categories

International Students:

  • Must meet GPA and English proficiency requirements.
  • Submit official transcripts and, if needed, proof of English proficiency.

Mature Students:

  • Applications are assessed individually.
  • Extensive managerial work and volunteer experience are required if no undergraduate degree is held.
  • May need to submit a 3–5-page essay outlining their goals and qualifications for the MBA.

Transfer Students:

  • Must meet GPA and English proficiency requirements.
  • Submit transcripts from prior accredited postsecondary institutions.
