Biography:

Dr. Mano Weligodapola is a Faculty Member at International Business University (IBU). She specializes in international business and organizational behaviour, with research expertise in entrepreneurship in emerging economies, organizational resilience, employee engagement, diaspora entrepreneurship, and cross-cultural leadership.

Her academic work examines how organizations, entrepreneurs, and leaders operate across complex business environments. Mano Weligodapola’s research uses qualitative and mixed-methods approaches to study leadership, resilience, engagement, and entrepreneurship across international and culturally diverse contexts.

She brings a strong record of Scopus-indexed journal publications, book chapters, and case studies. Her work supports students in understanding how international business theory connects with organizational practice, especially in emerging markets and global business settings.

Academic and Professional Contributions:

Dr. Mano Weligodapola has received multiple research excellence awards and competitive grants, including a 2025-2027 Teaching and Learning Innovation Fund award.
