Biography:

Brenda Kennedy is a faculty member whose work explores the practice of leadership in middle management, with a focus on leadership development, workplace coaching, organizational change, and executive learning. She brings a strong applied orientation to her teaching, serving as an academic coach and facilitator in MBA leadership courses at Athabasca University, where she integrates coaching‑focused instructional design into leadership education. Alongside her academic work, Brenda has held senior leadership roles at RBC, including multiple Director, Enablement, and Transformation positions, contributing deep experience in organizational change and leadership effectiveness. She is also the founder of Kennedy Leadership Consulting Inc., supporting leaders and organizations through coaching, development, and transformation initiatives.
