Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide an attestation letter?

Effective immediately, every undergraduate study permit application must include an attestation letter from the relevant province or territory. This letter serves to confirm the province’s or territory’s support for the international student. The issuance process for these letters is expected to operate by March 31, 2024.

International undergraduate students admitted to either the May or September 2024 terms at International Business University (IBU) will receive notification via email once the process for issuing attestation letters is finalized.

For the most current and detailed information regarding study permit applications and related procedures, we encourage students to refer to the official IRCC website. Additionally, inquiries can be directed to the University’s International Student Centre by submitting an email to registrar@ibu.ca.

We remain committed to supporting our international student community and ensuring a seamless transition throughout the application process.
