Dr. Amena Shahid

Biography:

Amena Shahid is a faculty member specializing in Organizational Behavior and Leadership, with a particular focus on transformational leadership. Her research explores the human side of strategy, including leadership, trust, recognition, and employee engagement, and includes peer‑reviewed publications as well as the development of the CALL (Challenges, Adaptation, Leadership, Learning) framework. She actively integrates research insights into management and leadership curricula and serves as a peer reviewer for leading academic journals. Alongside her academic work, Amena brings extensive professional experience as a Human Resources Manager in Canada’s financial services sector, a Co‑Founder and Director in the hospitality and real estate sectors in Toronto, and in director roles within continuing education and teaching and learning centers.
