Dr. Crissa Chen

Biography:

Crissa Chen is a faculty member specializing in Organizational Learning, Counselling, and Adult Education, with a strong emphasis on teaching and research in business, human resource management, and psychology. Grounded in educational psychology and business education, she brings over 20 years of academic experience across Taiwan and Canada, including appointments at Georgian College, University Canada West, Algoma University, and Yorkville University. Her teaching and research focus on organizational behavior, human resource management, global service management, and international business. She integrates real-world case studies, such as global trade policy and cross-cultural business dynamics, to enhance applied learning. Dr. Chen has contributed to national curriculum initiatives with Taiwan’s Ministry of Education and brings industry experience from the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), bridging academic scholarship with professional practice.
