Biography:

Dr. Esra Toplu is renowned for her expertise in strategic management, sales development, sales/marketing finance, and data analytics. With a rich background in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, she brings a unique blend of academic prowess and real-world experience to her teaching. She has worked more than 17 years at major international firms such as Diageo, Hewlett-Packard, and has experience in different industries which has shaped her practical know-how.

She holds a PhD degree in Business Management and Organization, a master’s degree in Marketing and a Bachelor of Business Administration. Dr. Esra’s passion for education led her to transition into academia, where she seamlessly integrates her industry insights into her teaching philosophy. Recognizing the importance of equipping students for the future, she is committed to preparing them for their future careers. Her courses are marked by a fusion of theoretical foundations and practical applications, enabling students to grasp the underlying principles while mastering the tools and techniques required in the modern business world.
