Dr. Mano Weligodapola

Biography:

Mano Weligodapola is a faculty member specializing in International Business and Organizational Behavior, with research expertise in entrepreneurship in emerging economies, organizational resilience, employee engagement, diaspora entrepreneurship, and cross‑cultural leadership. She has a strong record of Scopus‑indexed journal publications, book chapters, and case studies, and employs qualitative and mixed‑methods research approaches. Mano has received multiple research excellence awards and competitive grants, including a 2025–2027 Teaching and Learning Innovation Fund (TLIF) award. She also serves as Associate Dean at SLIIT Business School and is a Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE). Her academic and professional affiliations include the British Academy of Management and several international business and entrepreneurship research groups.
