Biography:

Dr. Moaz Bajwa received his doctoral degree in Sustainability Management from University of Waterloo. He is an executive leader with extensive experience in business management, strategy, marketing, procurement, and transformation, having worked with blue-chips ICI, AkzoNobel, and Standard Chartered. He has held numerous senior positions in various businesses, industries, geographies, and functions. He has developed and led large, diverse, and international teams, and has been directly involved in enterprise-wide talent and competence development programs.

Dr. Bajwa’s dedication to education led him to move into academia, where he effortlessly integrates his industry knowledge into his teaching philosophy. His teaching is a combination of academic dexterity and real-world experience, which stems from his extensive experience in the corporate sector. In addition to teaching, Dr. Bajwa’s research interests encompass corporate governance, sustainability practices, and applied ethics. His research interest lies in examining how companies should be obligated to incorporate human rights, climate change, and the environment into their decision-making. He is enthusiastic about creating management remuneration policies for companies that guarantee long-term, sustainable value creation and preservation.
