Nurhan Aycan

Biography:

Nurhan Aycan is a member of the Board at International Business University (IBU) and a partner in the Corporate group at Dentons’ Toronto office. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and private equity.
He brings more than 25 years of experience advising on Canadian and international corporate and commercial matters, particularly supporting high-growth companies. His background includes serving as general counsel of a multinational manufacturing company and as a managing director at an international private equity fund focused on distressed and turnaround situations. He also advises multinational clients as external general counsel across a range of sectors.

Nurhan Aycan has advised on public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and cross-border transactions. He is a frequent speaker on Canadian securities law, mergers and acquisitions, and resource sector matters at international conferences.
