Pamela McDonald Kuhne
Biography:
Pamela McDonald Kuhne is the Director of Partnerships and Innovation at Queensway Carleton Hospital. She brings a wealth of experience in healthcare, strategy, and system-level collaboration. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Ottawa West Four Rivers Ontario Health Team Collaborative Leadership Team, helping to guide integrated, patient–centered healthcare efforts across the region. Her career spans both public and private sectors, including a national leadership role at a global medical device company recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers. There, she led public affairs initiatives, developing deep expertise in stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, and navigating Canada’s complex healthcare landscape. She has worked extensively with leaders across healthcare, research, and innovation, building collaborative relationships that drive meaningful change. Her background in the private and public sector in the Ontario government, provides a strong foundation in healthcare systems and policy, supporting her ability to connect ideas and people across disciplines. She is a gold medalist for her MSc in Leadership and Management in Health, earned while teaching and conducting research in London, England. Her time working within and studying the NHS adds a valuable global perspective to her local leadership. A lifelong learner, she brings curiosity and versatility to every challenge—reflected in personal pursuits like earning sommelier accreditation and her fellowship with the British Royal Society of Arts, Commerce and Manufacturing (RSA), a 250-year-old organization committed to cross-disciplinary innovation.
