Biography:
Sam Choi is a faculty member specializing in Sustainable Urban Development, with research expertise in geopolitics, historical political geography, urban governance, and Hong Kong–China relations. His work examines rule‑of‑law politics, water and territorial governance, and Indo‑Pacific relations, with a strong emphasis on policy‑relevant and interdisciplinary analysis. Sam brings extensive applied experience as Program Coordinator at the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care and as Director of Policy Research for Canada‑Hong Kong Link. He is a frequent media commentator, contributing analysis to CBC, OMNI, Fairchild, and Sing Tao Radio, and has collaborated with leading international institutions including Fordham Law School’s Leitner Center, the University of York, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and South China University of Technology.
