Bridging Courses
Overview
The Bridging Program for the MSc in Applied Artificial Intelligence Applications is designed for applicants who have other STEM degrees or have substantial STEM academic background, may require foundational preparation before commencing the graduate program. The program equips students with essential programming, artificial intelligence, and mathematical skills needed to successfully undertake graduate-level study in AI.
The Bridging Program consists of four required courses, each carefully structured to build knowledge progressively and support learners from non-technical backgrounds.
Program Structure
The Bridging Program comprises the following four courses:
- Introduction to Python
- Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
- Linear Algebra and Applications
- Calculus, Statistics, and Probability
Completion of all four courses is required unless otherwise specified in the student’s admission conditions.

Application Form
The IBU Admissions team reviews your file. All of the following must be included for evaluation:
- Official transcripts from all secondary and post-secondary institutions attended
- Letter of Intent
- Foreign transcript evaluation by an IBU-approved credentialing service (e.g., WES or ICAS), if applicable
- English proficiency test scores (IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, or equivalent) dated within two years
A decision is issued by the IBU Registrar’s Office. Accepted applicants must pay the deposit to receive a formal Letter of Acceptance.

IBU will confirm your start date and welcome you to campus.
This institution has been granted the consent for Master of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence in Industrial Innovation and Data Engineering by the Minister of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security to offer these programs for a five-year term starting March 5, 2026.
Prospective students are responsible for satisfying themselves that these programs and the degree will be appropriate to their needs (e.g., acceptable to potential employers, professional licensing bodies or other educational institutions).
