International Students

Any international student whose official language of instruction in their undergraduate degree (at least 3 years, full-time) was English, and they achieved a minimum of a B+ GPA or equivalent, they will be required to submit an official foreign undergraduate degree transcript.

If the official language of instruction in the foreign undergraduate program was not English, and the native language of the student is not English, proof of English Proficiency is required. Submission of the official transcript and results of the English Language Proficiency Test are required, as well as a minimum of a B+ GPA or equivalent.

International students will require a valid study permit.

Once your application is completed, the Admissions team at International Business University will submit your file for consideration. They can only evaluate applications with the following documents included:

  • Official Transcripts of all secondary and post-secondary institutions attended.
  • Letter of Intent.
  • International Business University may request foreign transcripts to be evaluated by an IBU-approved international credentialing service such as WES, ICAS.
  • English proficiency test score results, i.e., IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, etc. (See detailed list of accepted tests on our website). Score - must be within two years.
  • GMAT or GRE Score (applicable for MBA program only)

A decision will be made and communicated to you from the IBU Registrar’s Office. If accepted, you need to pay your deposit to receive the final Letter of Acceptance and begin your studies.

Once you have received your Letter of Acceptance, you need to work towards paying the balance of your remaining tuition fees.
It should be noted that as an IBU student, you are obliged to pay each term’s tuition fees before the start of each term.
