Mature Students
You are considered a mature student if you are 19 years old or older on or before the start of the IBU program, have not acquired an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or its equivalent, and have not engaged in formal education for at least two years before applying.
You will be evaluated based on the successful completion of courses at the post-secondary level or through proficiency assessments. Additionally, you must provide:
- A completed online application form .
- Official transcripts from all institutions attended;
- A resume;
- Proof of English Proficiency, if required
- Proof of citizenship.

Complete your application and submit the documents listed in Step 2.

- Submit official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
- Detailed course curriculum (if applying for transfer credits).
- Transfer request form.
- English Proficiency (if applicable).
- Proof of citizenship.
Step 3
Once an admission decision is reached, the IBU Registrar’s Office will notify you directly. If accepted, you must pay your deposit to receive your final Letter of Acceptance and commence your studies.
Step 4
After receiving your Letter of Acceptance, you must work towards paying the balance of your remaining tuition fees. As an IBU student, you are obliged to pay your tuition fees before the start of each term.

This institution has been granted a consent by the Minister of Colleges and Universities to offer this program for a five-year term starting April 4, 2023. Prospective students are responsible for satisfying themselves that the program and the degree will be appropriate to their needs (e.g., acceptable to potential employers, professional licensing bodies or other educational institutions.)
